About EN701 Rubber Tyre Mark Remover
EN701 is a professional-grade rubber tyre mark remover designed for warehouses, factories, car parks and any environment where forklift trucks, LLOPs or other wheeled equipment leave black rubber scuff marks on the floor. Unlike traditional floor cleaners, EN701 contains no solvents, chlorinated or brominated hydrocarbons, making it a significantly safer choice for operators and the environment.
Once applied, the sophisticated cleaning compound begins to liquefy and bond with the rubber deposits within minutes. The liquidised rubber can then be scrubbed away and rinsed clean, leaving the surface undamaged. EN701 has been used by some of the UK’s largest distribution centres to remove rubber build-up several millimetres thick where other tyre mark remover products have failed to make an impact.
Compatible Surfaces
EN701 is safe to use on all of the following surfaces:
- Concrete and screed floors
- Epoxy resin coatings
- Altro safety flooring
- Tarmac and asphalt
- Ceramic and porcelain tiles
- Wooden floors
- uPVC screeds
EN701 is non-corrosive, so it will not affect the surface during the rubber removal process.
Key Benefits
Fast-acting formula
EN701 starts breaking down rubber deposits up to 4 times faster than its nearest rival. Its penetrating action lifts rubber build-up with less scrubbing effort, substantially cutting overall cleaning time on large industrial floor areas.
Low health and safety risk
EN701 carries a very low hazard rating compared to traditional floor cleaners. It contains no solvents and no chlorinated or brominated hydrocarbons, so it is non-flammable and presents no major risk during storage or use. Ideal for sites where COSHH compliance is a priority.
Environmentally safe
Despite its powerful cleaning performance, EN701 is formulated to pose no environmental hazards. It does not require any special disposal arrangements, simplifying waste management on site.
No specialist equipment needed
EN701 can be applied with a standard trigger spray bottle or a pressure sprayer. Agitation can be carried out with a mop, a cleaning pad, or a floor scrubber machine. Quick and straightforward to use without dedicated equipment or specialist training.
Concentrated and cost-effective
EN701 is a concentrated formulation that can be diluted with water as required, giving you greater flexibility and helping to reduce the cost per use on larger areas.
How to Use EN701 Tyre Mark Remover
Spot cleaning / small areas
- Apply EN701 neat using a trigger spray directly onto the tyre marks.
- Leave for 10–30 seconds depending on the severity of the marks.
- Agitate with a stiff brush or cleaning pad — you will see the rubber begin to liquify.
- Wipe or rinse clean. For heavy marks, re-apply and repeat until the surface is clear.
Industrial floor cleaning / large areas
- Apply EN701 neat or diluted 1:1 with water using a pressure sprayer.
- Leave for a minimum of 30–60 seconds (up to 10 minutes for heavily ingrained marks).
- Agitate with a very stiff brush, red or black cleaning pads, or a floor scrubber machine set to SCRUB ONLY at maximum pressure and a slow walking pace.
- For heavy rubber build-up, re-apply EN701 and leave for 5 minutes before agitating again.
- Clean the area to remove liquidised rubber residues, assess progress, and repeat until the floor is clean.
Best results process (recommended for large industrial areas)
For the best possible results on large floor areas, use EN701 in combination with EN715 High Performance Floor Cleaner:
- Apply EN701 to the area using a pressure sprayer.
- Scrub the area with a floor scrubber machine on SCRUB ONLY at maximum pressure and slow walking pace.
- Apply diluted EN715 on FLOOD setting, SCRUB ONLY at maximum pressure with vacuum off, at slow walking pace.
- Go over the area two to three times, then make a final pass with the vacuum ON to remove dissolved rubber residues.
EN715 cuts through liquidised rubber and works in conjunction with EN701 to lift tyre marks completely off the floor surface.
Works Best With
Use EN701 alongside EN715 High Performance Floor Cleaner for the fastest and most thorough results on large warehouse or factory floors. EN715 is designed to cut through the liquidised rubber residue left by EN701, dramatically reducing the number of passes required.

Excellent product. We had to remove some thick black rubber tyre marks from a warehouse floor and had tried the Karcher “Tyre Remover” which did not have any effect. On using the Bio8 EN701 you could see the product activating with the rubber and following scraping and washing the tyre marks were removed. Would definitely recommend.

Great product. We have yellow line markings on the warehouse floor which were barely visible due to the black rubber from the forklift tyres, I hoped the product would clean and brighten it somewhat. We used EN715 and the original bright yellow was restored in a matter of minutes. I’m really impressed.
